SNU College of Engineering Alumni Association Top Graduate Awards Ceremony #
On Friday, February 24th, the 2011 Top Graduate Awards Ceremony was held at the Seoul National University Engineer House. The ceremony was attended by Alumni Association President 윤우석, Executive Vice President 최상오, Dean of Engineering 이우일, the associate deans, department heads, and the honored graduates.
Following welcoming remarks by Alumni Association President 윤우석 and an encouraging address by Dean 이우일, certificates of commendation and prizes were awarded to a total of 31 Top Graduates from each department/school. A valedictory speech was given by 박영우 from the School of Electrical Engineering on behalf of the top graduates.
In particular, as it was graduation day, many parents and family members were present to celebrate their children’s proud awards and share a luncheon together.
The list of the 2011 Top Graduates from each department/school who received awards on this day is as follows:
- School of Civil and Environmental Engineering: 박지훈, 이영빈
- School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering: 김규원, 노민균, 장청재, 정연범, 조용래
- Department of Materials Science and Engineering: 구병진, 김지연, 박지민, 이승용
- School of Electrical Engineering: 강혁중, 고휘석, 김준오, 박영우, 박현수, 서주현
- Department of Computer Science and Engineering: 고우종, 박상일, 현철
- School of Chemical and Biological Engineering: 고종국, 김재정, 예상현, 이성원
- Department of Architecture: 김예리, 이보경
- Department of Industrial Engineering: 장우석
- Department of Energy Resources Engineering: 송지현
- Department of Nuclear Engineering: 최태섭
- Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering: 김현진, 박중용
